Fun in the Bath!

Caroline has recently "found her feet" and she loves to talk about how fascinating they are.

Caroline's First Dove Hunt

Caroline went on her first dove hunt this weekend. We drove down to Seguin, Texas about an hour south of Austin to Fred and Sue's ranch. The hunt was a huge success! Caroline and I enjoyed walking around the property and hanging out on the porch. It's always nice to spend time outside in the country.

Saturday with Nana, Hurricanes and Carrots

Caroline had a great time with her Nana last Saturday. We can't wait to see her again this weekend.
We really appreciate all of your calls of concern about Hurricane Ike. Fortunately and unfortunately, we didn't even get a drop of rain! We did get a half day off of school on Friday!!
In case you are curious about Caroline's favorite food....so far, Caroline LOVES carrots and apples. She kind of likes Prunes and she does NOT like bananas. We'll keep you posted in case you invite her over for dinner anytime soon. If you can't tell, we're having a great time making babyfood. Next up...Pears!

Needless to say, we are SO excited that it's time for college football...especially the Dawgs!

Bouncer

Caroline loves her bouncer! I love to just watch her tiny feet stomp the floor.

Caroline's First Meal

Caroline had her first meal last night. She really enjoyed her rice cereal. We can't wait for her try something else!

First week of School

It has been a long week! I'm so happy the first week of school is over and it's finally Friday! I have a great group of kids. 7 girls and 13 boys....I need to invest in air freshener! Here's a picture of Caroline helping me after school.

We met Scott, Amanda and Lucas at The Cedar Door for happy hour today. It look like the kids were over served!
