I have a new found respect for stay at home moms! It is hard work finding things to do every day. Caroline and I have visited The Natural Gardener a few times this summer. She loves going to see the chickens and roosters. She calls the rooster "doodle do" and the chickens "bach bach." We can't wait until it cools down this fall so we can actually get excited about buying plants instead of just visiting the "EIEIO's" (animals).
Caroline also had a lot of fun at Zilker Park, home of the famous Barton Springs. We played on the playground, watched a puppet show, and rode the train!
We are SO lucky to have the Austin (DELL) Children's Museum across the street from Alex's building downtown. They have so many wonderful hands on exhibits, experiments, craft tables, etc. We are going to love visiting the museum for years to come. This is a picture of Caroline "exploring" the toddler section.

A couple of Fridays ago we had dinner at one of our favorite places for tacos and sangria, El Chilito. Caroline ate a whole bowl of guacamole and loved every sticky minute of a strawberry popsicle. Her white dress was completely pink down the front (I managed to get it clean). It was a great night!
