Decorating the Tree

We had so much fun putting up our tree. Caroline loves the lights! She knows a lot of colors and she's starting to count!

Feliz Navidad Party

We drove up to Ennis for the annual Mathes Family Feliz Navidad Party. Caroline loved visiting with her cousins and her G-Daddy. She also got to hold their new kittens. She loves "meow meows"!

Caroline's Pink Tree!

I bought Caroline a hot pink tree for her bedroom and she loves it! When we set it up she gathered Santa and all of her animals around the tree. We're loving the holidays!

Thanksgiving with the Goats

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Athens. Caroline loved visiting with family and all of the animals. The new additions to the farm are the goats and she loves them!

Dirty Dog Beats Everything!

Caroline is talking more and more every day. She really enjoys playing the "This or That" game. If Dirty Dog is included he always wins! This is a video from back in early November.

Cupcakes!

Caroline and her classmates had cupcakes for Halloween. She ate the icing and left the cake. She's pointing to the cupcake saying "dis!" We practiced making sugar cookies this weekend, but I couldn't keep her from eating the cookie dough! I've got my work cut out for me!!

This is a picture of Caroline and her new favorite person, baby Austin. He is the only baby under one this year in her school and she adores him! She grins when you mention his name.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this past weekend. Caroline was in the annual Halloween parade with her classmates at school last Friday. Alex made sure that she was in costume and ready to go and he also walked with the kids during the parade. Amazing daddy! My students loved seeing Caroline and the other kids dressed up. Saturday, we had Chad, Gwen, Taelyn, Colin and Anna over for trick or treating and dinner. Caroline loved trick-or-treating and tried to go in a lot of the houses once the door was open. She didn't eat any candy, but I think she figured things out because she enjoyed chewing on the candy in the wrapper. She was not able to say "Trick-or-Treat" but she was able to say "Halloween!" One of Caroline's favorite things to talk about right now is the moon. She looks for the moon night and day. She looked for it while we were trick-or-treating. It was a wonderful night and I can't wait until next year. I think Halloween should be on a Saturday every year!
