So glad it's the weekend!

We are so happy that the weekend is finally here. It has been a long hard week for the Mathes family. I had Parent/Teacher conferences all day Monday, grades were due for report cards on Wednesday and we had a field trip Thursday! Alex has been working along the border fence near El Paso. He is conducting biological surveys of endangered species and wetlands that are impacted by the construction of the fence. He will be gone a week and home a week until the end of the year. I have a new respect for single working mothers! Here are a couple pictures of Caroline in her pre-Halloween bibs from Linda Buffington. She has sent Caroline so many wonderful things!
