Amelia's Two Week Appointment, Caroline's "Ta-Da!", and Uncle Paul

Amelia went to the doctor yesterday for her two week appointment and she is doing great! She now weighs 9 lb 9 oz and is 21 1/2 inches long. Since she is doing so well we get to skip her 4 week appointment. She did have to have one shot and have her heel stuck which she didn't like very much at all. Amelia also had her first bottle yesterday with Nona. Unlike her big sister, she took it just fine which is a big relief for Mommy!

Caroline had her last day of gymnastics for the Spring Semester today. Grandpa was able to go with me and Nona stayed home with Amelia. Caroline put on her usual show which included flips from the high bar, walking and jumping by herself hands free on the balance beam, and walking up to a handstand on against the wall. We were very proud of our gymnast.

Uncle Paul was here Saturday until Tuesday. We are so thankful that he was able to make the trip with Grandpa and come see where we live in Austin. He and Grandpa had a lot of fun in New Orleans last Friday night...maybe too much fun. Once he was here, he was full time Uncle with Caroline sticking to him like glue. She really LOVES her Uncle Paul. I have a feeling once Miss Amelia is up and around he might have another admirer.
